For most of her life, Bonnie Frucci has enjoyed the process of creating art. Painting has become a creative outlet and a life passion. She is inspired by many different subjects with the landscape being one of her favorites.
"There is great joy in painting red rocks on a hot desert day, or listening to aspen leaves flutter in the wind as I paint the autumn trees". Her paintings reflect this energy through her use of color, expressive brushstrokes and through her use of light.
She grew up in Price, Utah, and spent many years exploring the desert and mountain landscapes of Eastern Utah. This has given her a deep respect for the natural world and she strives to bring this integrity into her paintings.
She graduated from Utah State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Fine Art. During the 1990’s she taught art at Kaysville Junior High School.
Currently she focuses on painting each day and is part of many private and corporate collections and is represented by several galleries. She lives with her husband in Eden, Utah.
