DECEMBER NEWS
What a terrific October we had here at Gallery24! I hope you were able to join us for at least one of our events.
Lester Lee, watercolor landscape artist, was such a relaxed and charming visitor, and we all enjoyed his work, his demonstration, and the Utah Watercolor Society Auction on Saturday.
Directly afterwards, the Wasatch Camera Club from Salt Lake graced us with their presence and their photography. Still Wild: Framing the Framing the Future of Public Lands is a timely subject, as it happens that our very own Capitol Reef National Park is being threatened by possible coal mining nearby. In addition to that, our Senators, Mike Lee and John Curtis, have introduced new bills that would allow Off-Road Vehicles (ORV) in National Parks across America, as well as Capitol Reef. This is a scary thought considering fragile park resources and quality of experience for every visitor...
The nights are getting chilly here, but the days are still lovely, and the air is super clear. Hiking trails are always open, so consider a visit!
Here at Gallery24, we have been so fortunate to always have amazing art for you to enjoy. Each artist has a different idea, and we love that! Not only will the Wasatch Camera Club images be on our wall until mid-December, but we also have extraordinary paintings, ceramics, and additional photography as usual.
As the Holidays approach, we will be making wreaths and arrangements. Our wreaths are legendary and every year we are lucky to find new sources and really interesting new material to work with. Please feel free to stop by and describe your very own home decoration-we are happy to help! Order earlier for the best choices.
