NEWS

After unexpectedly having to exit from our wonderful Gallery space of nearly twenty years last December, we have spent the last six months paying for storage and carefully inspecting every piece of real estate in tiny Torrey.

The NEWS is indeed excellent. We have found a new space and we are open! Patricia, Susan, and Ray have retired from the Gallery business to enjoy free time, painting all the time, and travel. Steve Babbitt, photographer, expressed interest in the Gallery partnership, so Steve and I will be here to greet you when you make your next visit to Capitol Reef Country.

And do not delay your visit one minute! The Gallery looks just amazing and the art work feels better than ever. We are always on the lookout for new work, so if you are in the middle of a body of new work, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Meanwhile, make a plan right now for a week or a weekend. The best hiking and stargazing are now, as the days are cooler and the nights are still pleasant. There are alpacas to see and horses to ride, the Farmers’ Market to shop, and tasty new food just around the corner. The dramatic and beautiful velvet ridge awaits you.

But please stop in at new Gallery 24 first-at the junction of routes 12 and 24. We can’t wait to see you again.
