I know spring is out there. But one year ago was so entirely different. We had freezing cold right into May and then in a flash, the warmth of summer was upon us. This year we have already had a beautiful stretch of windless days in March-with the not yet too strong warm sun making us all so comfortable and reminding us that soon we will be taking that beautiful blue sky for granted. A bounty of daffodils dances in my garden!
Today, a mysterious foggy texture is moving in from Boulder Mountain and I do believe I see some fat flakes in the air. The horizon is fading with the coming storm and the red cliffs are losing their sharp edges as they become yet another grey plane. There is just one spectacle after another, right outside the window! Make your reservations to visit us soon-I know there were some disappointments last season. Even the restaurants have opened their doors early to accommodate so many visitors.
Gallery 24 is opening its doors this week on April 6! We will be scurrying about hanging all our exciting new work until Saturday, April 15, when we will once again be entertaining all our friends and colleagues with a fun evening of wine and hors d'oeuvres. Don't forget your spring bonnet! Everyone will be there so please don't miss it! We will have a new ceramic artist, a new jeweler and many new pieces from your familiar favorites as well. We have all been very busy and I think you will be delighted. We always look forward to seeing you. Our 2017 hours are Thursday-Monday, 11am-5pm, and anytime by appointment.
